ThaiVedic Yoga Level I - Bronze Medallion
FOUNDATION OF THAIVEDIC YOGA THERAPY
[30 Hrs/5 days].
Course Content:

Introduction to the Ayurvedic Five Element System and how to apply the system for balancing lifestyle, diet and Yoga Therapy.
-
How to define the strengths and weakness of each form of Yoga by its elemental dominance.
-
Diagnose an individual’s state of dosha (disease tendency), and which techniques are best to balance each dosha.
-
How to assess and treat the Ayurvedic tri-gunas; known as tamas (stagnation and delusion), rajas (action and desire), and sattva (peace and harmony). How to integrate diets, lifestyle and yoga practices that promote sattva. When sattva dominates, our internal life compass returns to accuracy and self-healing becomes effortless.

Meditations, breath practices, and asana to balance the three Ayurvedic disease tendencies.

Experience yoga therapy for the feet, spine, hips, and legs.

Emphasis in this module is on reawakening our intuition and ability to be guided by spirit. We focus on treating Vata, the source of almost all disease; through meditation, positive psychology, breath practices, and grounding asana.

Upon completion of this course all students will be able to:

Diagnose a person individually using Ayurvedic principles.

Know which yoga techniques are more suited to themselves and students.

Treat psychological imbalances and inspire spiritual fulfilment through individualised meditations, pranayamas, and ThaiVedic life coaching.

Qualified Asana teachers can learn to use asana and movement therapies to help muscular and skeletal imbalances in the spine, hips and legs.

Receive a completion certificate from ThaiVedic Yoga which certifies students to share “ThaiVedic Inspired” meditations and lifestyle advice.

Further embody and perfect your skills by taking part in the “Healers Evolution Program”; where you can receive guidance and feedback on your sessions and ability to use the ThaiVedic system. This can qualify you for the title of “ThaiVedic Meditation and Lifestyle Consultant” and a full Bronze Medallion ranking in the ThaiVedic Practitioner Directory.

ThaiVedic Yoga Level II - Silver Medallion
INTERMEDIATE THAIVEDIC YOGA THERAPY
Prerequisites: ThaiVedic Yoga Level I

Course Content:

Expanded yoga therapy techniques, once again categorised into their elemental dominance for ease of individualised healing.
-
The five sub-doshas of Vata that control the functional and healing intelligence of the body. Includes practices to restore balance to each Vayu.
-
Expanded ways to treat the three Ayurvedic disease tendencies, including the ThaiVedic essential oil blends, which can treat 70+ imbalances.

Experience the ThaiVedic yoga therapy sequence for Pitta. Designed to release excess heat, balance metabolism, and treat neck and shoulder problems.

Ayurvedic Digestive Therapy: using herbs to correct the three unbalancing types of Agni (digestive force); and Dietary Therapies for removing Ama (toxins and half-digested waste).

Emphasis in this module is on healing the metabolism and digestive system. Treatment is focused on yogic practices, Ayurvedic and culinary herbs, and essential oils.
Upon completion of this course all students will be able to:

Use the Five Vayus System to restore balance to the digestive system and give individualised yogic and lifestyle advice.

Treat digestive imbalances and correct a person’s metabolism using yoga therapy, herbs, and natural means.

Qualified Asana teachers can learn to use asana and movement therapies to help muscular and skeletal imbalances in the neck and shoulders.

Understand the Ayurvedic qualities of essential oils and be able to treat mind, skin and respiratory imbalances with them.

Receive a completion certificate from ThaiVedic Yoga which certifies students to share “ThaiVedic Inspired” metabolism and essential oil advice.

Further embody and perfect your skills by taking part in the “Healers Evolution Program”; where you can receive guidance and feedback on your sessions and ability to use the ThaiVedic system. This can qualify you for the title of “ThaiVedic Digestion and Metabolism Consultant” and a full Silver Medallion ranking in the ThaiVedic Practitioner Directory.

ThaiVedic Yoga Level III - Gold Medallion
STRUCTURAL THAIVEDIC YOGA THERAPY
Prerequisites: ThaiVedic Yoga Levels I and II

Course Content:
[30 Hrs/5 days]

The structural body and its ideal alignment for longevity. Including the most important stabilising muscles for major joints and how to switch them on.

Understanding the lymphatic system (the body's sewage system). How to pump the sewage clean and open the drainage points for immune system vitality.

The art and play of connected yoga. Introduction to adjustments and partner opportunities.

Strength and conditioning in relation to Yoga Therapy. How to create strong connective tissue and how we need to individualise this for each of the three disease tendencies.

Upon completion of this course all students will be able to:

Use asana and movement therapies to work and condition the Nine Functional Movement Patterns for maximum mobility and peak performance.
-
Know which functional movement patterns are most important to strengthen for each individual.
-
Use the dosha imbalance and disease tendency to predict and prevent structural imbalances before they arise.
-
Understand and use wording cues that enable students to access and switch on their stabilising muscles. This preserves joint integrity and lengthens the body.

Receive a completion certificate from ThaiVedic Yoga which certifies students to share “ThaiVedic Inspired” Structural Therapy.

Further embody and perfect your skills by taking part in the “Healers Evolution Program”; where you can receive guidance and feedback on your sessions and ability to use the ThaiVedic system. This can qualify you for the title of “ThaiVedic Structural Consultant” and a full Gold Medallion ranking in the ThaiVedic Practitioner Directory.
