Koh Phangan, Thailand
SUPER EARLY BIRD NOW OPEN!
Course Overview
ThaiVedic 200 Hour Holistic Yoga Therapy Teacher Certification in Thailand 2025 offers a unique training; drawing wisdom from the traditional systems of Ayurveda, Yoga and Thai Massage, with the most powerful holistic therapies of today.
This is different from a regular Yoga Teacher Training, as it equips you with skills to offer the most individualised and effective treatments and classes; allowing you to assess and treat based on spirituality, psychology, metabolism, nutrition, and structure.
Our courses are IPHM (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine) certified. You will gain an internationally recognised qualification, enabling you to practice holistic therapies around the world. Our training also offers Yoga Alliance 200 hour YTT Certification.
For your personal evolution, the 28 days training is an opportunity for you to immerse in an Ayurvedic self-care practice; supporting you for a transformative spiritual experience.
-
Teachers, practitioners or therapists wanting to advance their professional skills. Although all knowledge is taught from an entry level and proceeds to advanced; complete beginners might find the curriculum and intensive learning style challenging if they do not have a present foundation in either yoga, Ayurveda, bodywork or other holistic therapies.

-
Individuals wishing to learn healing arts to help themselves and others. If you wish to better understand your own body plus understand those around you; and be equipped to help yourself and your loved ones through movement therapies, holistic lifestyle wisdom, and living spiritually purposeful lives. At ThaiVedic we envision a healer in every home.

-
Those wishing to practice Yoga Therapy to help people, whether at home or while travelling the world. Our school is a registered training provider with IPHM (The International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine), which allows students to practice internationally.
-
Those who understand that Yoga is far more than asana (physical postures and exercise), and wish to receive a holistic foundation in a variety of yogic practices including meditation, mantra, bandhas, and more.

-
While students can receive a Yoga Alliance 200hr certification through attending this training; if you only wish to teach Yoga Asana/yoga-studio style classes; there may be other courses more focused to your needs. While we do teach Yoga asana (poses); it is not the sole focus of this training. We focus on all aspects of yogic lifestyle and therapies. For a teacher training focused on Asana and Hatha Yoga, please see the Strength & Grace Yoga programs led by our co-founder Barbra Noh.

-
Those who understand that 200hrs of practice and training time will not make you a specialist or expert in the system. Although most participants will have developed life-changing skills and be able to help people as soon as they finish; the journey of mastery will happen over time and you will need to continue practising if you wish to be a specialist in any specific field.

-
Those who aspire to a growth mindset, who love learning and evolving; and are prepared to grow over time with a community who shares and supports your growth. Those who are people-focused and care about others, want to work with individuals and groups, and help the world by sharing practices that increase awareness and healing.

-
This is an education and training focused event; not intended to be a healing retreat. It is an intensive course and may not be ideal for those seeking a personalised healing treatment. For an event that is focused on YOU and your personal healing; check out Vitality Now Ayurvedic Detox Program led by our co-founder Kimmana Nichols.
Who is This Training For?
"Apart from being one of the greatest experiences I've ever had, I now sense deep gratitude in every bodywork session I give. Having a diagnosis-tool at hand and a clear structure in mind makes a big difference!"

As the primary purpose of the Holistic Yoga Therapy Teacher Training is to awaken self-healing; there is a focus on practices that fine-tune your ability to understand the body’s natural guiding messages and intuitions. All classes throughout the training have this fundamental goal of enhancing self-awareness and empowering people to be their own healer. This frees the mind and body from imbalanced thoughts or movements that promote suffering and decay. When we are more self-aware, we are more able to help and heal ourselves, others, and the world.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will there be a final examination at the end of the course? Written/practical?
The ThaiVedic 200hr Holistic Yoga Therapy Teacher Training in Koh Phangan Thailand 2025 is a combination of our Level 1, 2, & 3 Bodywork Therapy Curriculum; our Level 1, 2, & 3 Yoga Therapy Curriculum; plus a 200hr Yoga Alliance certification.
The Yoga Alliance requirements are only that you attend the specific amount of hours in each subject; which will be covered through your attendance in the entire course. The ThaiVedic Modules require examination for each level, in order to receive the full qualification. Some is written and some is practical. Each level also requires home evolutions to be handed in if you want to have the highest ratings, showing that you have been able to apply the system in the real world with clients.

2. Will we get a certification directly after the Training to take home?
You will receive a "completion certificate" for the full 200hr; that can be used for Yoga Alliance. With the Yoga Alliance qualification, you will be able to practice and receive insurance straight after the training. If however, you wish to be "fully certified" by ThaiVedic, you will need to show you have been able to use the knowledge with clients outside the training by going through the process we refer to as the "Healers Evolution Program". If you hand in the "Healers Evolutions" for each module, both practical and written, you will then receive feedback from the teacher and a full Certification for that module. The Level 3 Modules (Gold Medallion Certification) require additional practice hours to receive full certification.

3. What are the benefits of getting full Certification in each Medallion Ranking?
Once certified students can use and promote themselves as a ThaiVedic practitioner. Certified practitioners are displayed on the ThaiVedic Practitioner directory according to their medallion ranking. We have chosen this system of grading because we know that 200hrs does not make an experienced healer and so we will prioritise the most experienced ThaiVedic therapists in each part of the world to represent the ThaiVedic community and our system. In the long-term, this will benefit all people involved in the ThaiVedic community, regardless of their level of qualification, because those experienced therapists will be creating the reputation for us all.

4. Do we need to bring any books or do we get manuals at the training?
We will provide manuals with all necessary information and a pdf of these manuals is available for pre-reading. There is also recommended reading for those students who wish to go deeper into certain areas. We recommend you choose from the reading list based on the topics you have the least knowledge in. ThaiVedic is a holistic system and as such a little bit of knowledge in all areas will allow you to be more effective. Example areas of knowledge include Anatomy, Thai Massage, Ayurveda, Yoga Therapy etc. Please visit this page to see the full list of recommended readings.

5. What does the weekly schedule look like?
The weekly schedule runs six days a week, with one day off. The daily schedule generally runs from sunrise until sunset, as we would like to align with the Vedic time clock. The schedule may vary, depending upon the flow of the training, as well as the needs of the group. Class schedule is approximately: Sunrise to 8am, followed by group breakfast. Next class 9.30am. -12.30pm, followed by group lunch and free time. The last class will be held from 3 - 6pm. and followed by group dinner.

-
Please see our recommended reading list. You are NOT required to purchase/read all or any of these books. However, we HIGHLY recommend if you feel you have a weakness or very little knowledge in any of the subject areas; that you choose and read those texts prior to the course. See reading list.

-
Most importantly, an open mind ready to transform and grow one's yoga practice and self evolution.

7. What’s the maximum number of students that can enrol in the training?
As we would like to make it intimate, intensive, and be able to provide every student with support, we have limited numbers for our courses (15-25 depending on venue). Because of this our trainings have always been fully booked. We also have more teachers, guest teachers and assistants on board than other training schools to ensure dynamic learning and one-on-one time.

A payment plan is possible for those who really need it. Please contact us to discuss your options.
